Country music superstar Miranda Lambert treated fans to a night of unforgettable music and impact on Sunday, September 28, with a powerful benefit concert at the VENU’s Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs.
Proceeds from the event will benefit AFAAC’s mission to fund 30 intercollegiate sports and develop the next generation of Air and Space Force leaders, as well as support scholarships, grants, and mentorship opportunities provided by the VENU Arts and Culture Foundation.
“This night was about more than great music, it was about making a difference,” said J.W. Roth, Founder, Chairman & CEO of VENU and owner of Ford Amphitheater. “Music has shaped my life since I was a kid and being able to use that passion to give back feels incredibly meaningful. Seeing this all come together was truly special, it’s exactly what we envisioned when we built this venue.”
The concert also marked a milestone for the Ford Amphitheater, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and was nominated by Pollstar as Best New Concert Venue of 2024. Hosting one of country music’s most celebrated artists reinforced the venue’s growing reputation as a world-class cultural destination.
