After opening the highly anticipated Colorado Springs outdoor venue Ford Amphitheater last year, VENU just announced that it has acquired a property in Centennial that it will transform into an indoor music venue.

The space is at 15755 East Arapahoe Road, formerly occupied by Celebrity Lanes Bowling; the company anticipates closing on the sale by June 1. VENU’s plans for the spot include its signature fire-pit suite boxes as well as a restaurant with custom-crafted menus.

“Take everything you know about indoor venues and throw it out the window,” says J.W. Roth, who is the founder, chairman and CEO of VENU. “We have assembled a powerhouse team of architects, designer, and operators to deliver the ultimate destination in Centennial. It will set a new standard not just for Denver, but for the entire industry. Like everything else we do, this will be over the top.”

“The market is hungry for premium spaces,” adds Will Hodgson, President of VENU. “Music fans are no longer satisfied with simply walking through the front doors of a venue – they’re looking for more. We’ve watched a clear shift in preferences: People want experiences that feel intentional, exclusive, and elevated. VENU is leading that transformation by designing with the fan in mind from day one.”

And since this will be an indoor venue, the company won’t have to worry about noise-pollution complaints; Colorado Springs was deluged with complaints after the Ford Amphitheater opening, with a resolution still in the works.
